On April 19th, 2026, Sims Plastics lost a beloved member of its family. Russell Ditto passed away, leaving behind a legacy that will forever be woven into the foundation of our company. Russell dedicated 24 years of his life to Sims Plastics, joining in 1997 and serving as Vice President until his retirement in 2021. His contributions were not only significant—they were transformative.
Russell was an exceptional leader whose vision, integrity, and steady guidance helped shape Sims Plastics into what it is today. His leadership was defined not just by results, but by the way he achieved them—with honesty, humility, and unwavering dedication.
Beyond his title, Russell was a mentor, a teacher, and a trusted friend to many. His door was always open, and his advice was always thoughtful and sincere. Many of us are better professionals—and better people—because of his influence.
