Convenient Installation and Intuitive Maintenance without Compromising Quality

Traditional copper and galvanized steel water systems feature main lines and a series of smaller branch lines that lead to each fixture. Each branch that attaches to the main line requires a separate connection. PEX has a distinct advantage over these materials because of its flexibility, which allows one end of PEX pipe to connect to a PEX manifold (the main water control system) and then wind through walls and floors—uninterrupted—all the way to an individual fixture. Called “homerun” plumbing, by using a single length of PEX for each hot and cold water supply fixture in your home, it eliminates the risk of leaks at multiple connection sites.

Smart Clicks from Legend Valve is the future of plumbing today. Smart Click is a permanent  connection system for our hyper pure and all pert and PEX piping. It is the fastest and most reliable pert and PEX connection system: You need no tools, no measuring, and no gauges. No cooper rings to slip on the tubing. Simply cut, insert, and click! Takes just seconds! You can always listen for the click sound and then you can verify by looking through the sight glass to see that the spring steel clamp has been activated. The tube will fail before the fittings, Smart Click fittings will not fail. Smart Clicks are 35% faster to install than other fitting systems today.

It takes a commitment to exceed the expectation of our customers in every way possible. Since our beginning in 1988, Legend’s core mission has been to create customer astonishment with our quality products, performance and service guarantees.

In most cases, PEX piping is extremely durable and lasts up to 50 years or more. PEX piping is also less likely to crack or break than metal pipe because it does not expand and contract as much when heated and cooled.

PEX pipe won’t corrode, rust or stain over time like other materials. PEX piping systems are safe to use in your home because they’re made from materials that don’t react with water and don’t contain any chemicals that could leach into the water supply.

Heim reported that polymer-based pipe material played an important role in the occurrence of odor and TOC levels in water. PEX pipe showed a higher growth of coliform bacteria than copper pipe.

All PEX systems are certified to NSF/ANSI/CAN 61, so they’re approved for potable water application. PEX is resistant to leaching, pitting and mineral buildup.

Due to its flexibility, PEX can expand under the damaging pressure caused by ice formation. If the weather gets cold enough, PEX pipes can and will freeze like any plumbing. However, PEX may be less likely to rupture as a result of freezing.
